Before you get overly excited, let me tell you that this unit is only offered in Korea.

It’s a funky looking portable tv that mimics an iPod. it has an inbuilt antenna, SD/MMC slot, USB connectivity and has a 4 hours long battery life.

Why is it not available in other countries? Because it’s a DMB tv. It’s a newly launched digital transmission by the South Korean (in 2005) and is not supported in the USA and many other countries.

Europe is now conducting a trial run and several other countries like Indonesia is also following Europe’s path.

Casio handheld TV

casio.jpgFor those sport nuts or others who just can’t get away from their TV, why not try the Casio EV-570 Handheld Portable?
The 2.5 inch screen ( of course it’s small! if not it won’t be called handheld!) will lasts around 2 hours with 4 AAAA batteries. If you have a power source around, it can also be plugged on.

This lightweight tv has good clarity and reception ( UHF & VHF). Just don’t expect to see the score of your basketball game because it’s so tiny you’ll break your eyeball.

Oh! In case you decided to buy it, just remember to invest in rechargable batteries (and maybe save some money for a pair of eyeglasses) too ..
