The 26-inch screen has a resolution of 1,366 by 768 pixels (768p), with a max input resolution of 720p/1080i with HDMI or component video inputs. Using component video input, the TV’s preset for “full” picture size over-enlarges the original picture by 6 percent, which results in a slightly softer, less-detailed image compared with a TV that can display the entire video frame, like the LG 32LG30. The LG30 series is also compatible with 1080p24 and 1080p60 input, formats found on many Blu-ray disc players, including the Sony BDP-S350.
