At last, the company has admitted that 3 new Slingboxes are underway. It will play on Macs and PC (unlike previous models) and increases streaming performance by up to 400 per cent over the original model.

For those who do not know what is a Slingbox. This is what it does:-

“The $200 device–introduced in 2005 from start-up Sling Media–lets you access your cable or satellite box or any other video source from virtually any Windows PC with broadband Internet access, whether it’s in your home or halfway around the world. -CNET”

And if that wasn’t enough Sling Media has added mobile software too. So you could also stream your home TV programming to any Web-enabled, Windows Mobile-powered handheld or cell phone.

With this kind of gadget, I just hope you guys are still employed by the end of the year.
