LC3200N.jpgThe HP LC3200N LCD Tv is actually a rebadged Sharp Aquos, with every imagineable input hookup available.

The picture quality and menu are identical, except HP has a few extra inputs and also 6 extra color controls.

It’s user display is user friendly. and the backlit remote is easy to use. The extensive color management should get you the type of picture you want.

If you detach the speakers you’ve yourself a great looking set with a piano gloss finish.

It’s speakers has a Dolby Virtual surround-sound mode but that wouldn’t be much of a factor since most people would want to hookup their own sound system to this set.

The color quality, sharpness and contrast cannot be rivalled by cheaper unbranded LCDs, whether you’re watching high definition transmission or an analog one.

Other Reviews:

At CNET, this HP LC3200N received a 7.0 rating. The editors said that “Overall, the HP LC3200N delivers one of the best pictures we’ve seen on a flat-panel LCD of this size, rivaling the Sharp models. In fact, we suspect its technology is derived from Sharp since its menu system is identical. If you’re willing to pay a bit more for an LCD and want one that will do adequate duty for home theater as well as for TV, the HP LC3200N is a very good choice.”

At PCWorld, it received a Very Good Rating from buyers and reviewers. The editors over at PcWorld said that although “the LC3200N didn’t win our image-quality tests .. it does have a wide array of ports to connect racks full of equipment, and its extensive image adjustments should help you get the picture you want. ”

RETAIL AT: around $1400

(note: some buyers said that they got this set for less than $700 at CompUSA. It wasn’t there when we looked. However, a 32 inch
LC3260N is on sale at $999.99. The LC3260N has an additional HDMI input, better contrast and faster response time.

We think that’s a better bargain!)
