This total solution results in cinema like high resolution images. The 32LX1D uses Super IPS Technology to Reduce common distortion and blurring caused by fast motion video and also provides one of the industry’s widest viewing angles (178°).

This HDTV includes a cable tuner which allows reception of digital cable programming without the need for an external cable box.

With its comprehensive feature set and classy styling, LG’s 32LX1D is a solid choice among higher-end LCD TVs, even if it’s more expensive than most of the competition. Right out of the box, it offers admirable performance. Unless you really want to ditch your cable box, Samsung’s LT-P326W, with its similar looks and good performance, is a better overall value. If you can’t justify this TV’s high price, your best bet from the budget lot would probably be the Syntax Olevia LT32HV.

Review by Satellite Guys

Not knowing much about Plasma and LCD TV’s I did a lot of research and boiled it down to a few models. After I did this I went and actually saw the televisions and fell in LOVE with the LG 32LX1D LCD TV!

It had all the features we were looking for including Cablecard support and a wide array of inputs, IEEE 1394, HDMI, DVI PC input and more.

After seeing this I wanted one, and it was on sale at Circuit City. I told the sales guy I wanted one and he went to his computer and told me this TV was out of stock for 3 or 4 weeks.

Review by a buyer at PriceGrabber

I work at an electronics store so I get to compare all the LCDs every day, and this LG model was so good that I had to buy it. The only comparable model is the Sony XBR, and the LG is $1000 cheaper, so a much better value–and is just as good as the Sony in most ways.

The 1200:1 contrast ratio and good refresh rate allows for fast-moving programming such as sports to come in clear. High-definition cable comes in crystal clear through the HDMI input.
