LG Electronics Korea has announced the Smart Time Machine Special Edition LCD TV’s specially for the 2008 Bejing Olympics. The range has two LCD TV’s Sunshine and Topaz which are full HDTV’s. The TV’s are loaded with 160GB hard drives for recording your favorite programs and along with the Smart Time Machine feature you can program the TV to record specific programs using the EPG. To be made available in Korea only the 42 inch Topaz will sell for 1,650,000 KRW ($ 1599), 42 inch Sunshine for 2,100,000 KRW ($ 2000), 50 inch Topaz for 2,300,000 KRW ($ 2200) and 47 inch Sunshine for 4,700,000 KRW ($ 4500).
