The LG 50PG6900 is a 50-inch, 720p plasma with a built-in Freeview+ recorder, so you can pause and record TV programmes for viewing later. As you’d hope, there are two tuners built-in, which means you can watch one channel while recording another. The LG has 160GB of hard disk space, which should be enough to record around 48 hours of video

The aspect ratio of LG 50PG6900 Flat Screen Plasma TV is 16:9 that throws a theatre viewing effect on its widescreen display. What this TV loses in resolution it makes up for with its main selling point: the built-in Freeview+ recorder, which has 160GB of storage — more than enough to record plenty of your favourite TV programmes. Of course there are advantages and disadvantages to built-in recorders. The most obvious downside is that if it breaks, you’re going to be in a tricky position. On the plus side, though, it saves power, reduces clutter and makes recording programmes incredibly simple.
