The DreamBee features three Full HD panels (1920×1080 pixels), one per color channel: green, red and blue. The innovative reflective liquid crystal panel is now processed into a 0,7 inches diagonal plate with a pixel pitch of 8.0ìm to match the most exigent HDTV resolution available and to achieve the unsurpassed industry contrast with breakthrough native ratio of 20,000:1.

The DreamBee reproduces without artifice the richest and deepest black level, whichever the movie, whichever the scene. Moreover, choice can be made between five different color presets, two of which being customizable.

The DreamVision DreamBee projector has been specifically conceived to operate almost anywhere from the screen. Its light weight makes the projector easily transportable. The versatile, large horizontal and vertical optical shift, associated with the new cooling system reduce the DreamBee installation to a minimal space requirement. In addition to this ease-of-installation, the state-of-the-art French design (by Le Porcher) makes this model the ideal choice that would transform any room into a living theater.

The new 3-chip D-ILA system features three Full HD panels (1920×1080 pixels), one per colour channel to obtain vivid colours without any rainbow effect. The amazing ratio contrast of 15,000:1 associated with wire-grid technology can reproduce without artifice the richest and the deepest black level, whichever the movie and scene.

With all the 1080p talk going on with the HD DVD and Blu-ray disc format war it’s nice to see more companies acknowledging through their products that no matter what there is going to be a bigger need for some Hi-Def output. The DreamVision DreamBee projector uses a less costly D-ILA technology as apposed to the popular DLP to produce a full 1080p projected picture that will take full advantage of those Hi-Def discs and players regardless of which format you go with.

Despite its sleek design, the DreamBee’s got a massive footprint that might be hard to handle at nearly 23″ wide, 18.5″ long, and 8″ tall, not to mention it weighs 25 pounds. It’s definitely made for a long-term home theater setup, without portability in mind. If you don’t gawk at the size of the unit, you might at the price: over $14,000 for the standard, and $19,000 for the DreamBee Pro.
