NEC has unveiled some specs on its new NP4001 pro-level projector that sports 4500 ANSI lumens, and can be used at distances of 2.8- to 283 feet.

It sports a 2300:1 contrast ratio and the company’s BrillianColor processing technology is used to create better colors.

The 1280×768 projector can be controlled remotely with the help of an Ethernet connection and is expected to hit shelves in October for $6,000.
