DVICO(www.dvico.co.kr) had a press conference with the launch of its next-generation multimedia player ‘TViX HD M-6500A’ in Korea market, which features Sigma’s latest processor SMP8635, HDMI 1.3a and SATA hard disk. Supporting various audio/video formats such as MP3, WMA, PCM, DTS, WMV9 and WMV-HD, DIVX, XVid, HDV and MKV files recorded by digital camcorders, and standard transport streams that are recorded by today’s HD devices, as well as the new H.264 (MPEG4) format. In a home network environment, the TVIX supports a Network Attached Storage(NAS) as well as Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, DVICO presented ‘PVR M-6510A’ and ‘PVR M-7010A’ models which are equipped with HDTV receiver. Suggested price is 340,000(KRW) for ‘6500A’ and 380,000(KRW) for ‘6510A’. The 7010A is expected to be released in April.
