The latest HDD/DVD recorder combi to roll off the Panasonic production line, the gorgeous DMR-EX87, comes armed with a substantial 250GB hard drive and is able record onto any type of blank DVD, including dual-layered versions.

The onboard tuner is digital, there’s an HDMI output and the deck can upscale standard-definition programming to hi-def levels, all the way up to 1080p. Additionally, there’s an SD card slot at the front, alongside a DV input for easy hookup of a digital camcorder.
